Argument composition - Essay ExampleI know I am educated and that my ascertaining of material presented in the lineage work is good, my ability to write about it well is non. However, I am at a unique disadvantage because the majority of the students in the class have been speaking, reading, and writing in English since they starting began going to school. College is about learning and I have learned a lot in this course more than many I would suspect. There are, clearly, people in this class who have attended little lectures turned in less assignments and have overall shown far less interest or participation, unless in class may have a higher grade than I do because they were suitable to write a properly structured English sentence better than I can.I do not mean to say that this is an excuse, but shouldnt it be a consideration. According to current inquiry this situation is not uncommon in the United States today. Many students who are ESL learners feel that they are not re ceiving the grades that they feel they deserve (Solomon 5). In many ways, I have to work a little harder and a little longer than the other students but I keep trying my hardest to do better the abutting time. This has been a problem since I began attended English speaking schools. I take many classes with a heavy work load. I do not quit. I do not give up. I put in twice as much effort and never stop trying to better my writing skills. I think that a grade of B fits the effort, energy, and commitment I have shown in this course. My written work may not be the best, but my work ethic and desire to understand the course is deserving of far more than a grade of D.Solomon, Erin D..
